Sorry still no pictures.
Our visit to Etosha is speeding to an end. Last night the jackals and the roar of lions woke us in the middle of the night. Today we did not leave camp and experienced the wildlife around the campsite. The waterhole is not more than 20 meter from the camp and it is like a 24 hour non-scripted movie of animals coming and going.
Charmain also spotted two huge owls in the tree right next to the waterhole. I have never seen an owl that big. Seriously it must be about 600 to 700mm high. They were having a Guinnee fowl for breakfast. Unfortunately no pictures were possible.
Tonight I am going to attempt a star trail photo. Just hope the Jackals dont take a liking to my tripod and camera and take it for a walk.
Sorry gotta run and assist in the making of a curry and rice for dinner (I have to hook up the gas 😉 )
