As mentioned in the previous post we arrived late at the Sesriem campsite and woke up the next morning surrounded by landscape photos 🙂
The light, the dunes, the trees everything was screaming to be photographed and we set off to Dune Elim to drink in the scenery.
I know I am a lazy bugger but dang these dunes are hard to climb. Four steps forward, three steps back.
We saw something we have never seen before even if it was from quite a distance.
Never before have we seen Oryx babies.
To say I was running around at the magic hours was an understatement. The time was just so short to take landscape photos every day when the light was magical.
I was literally chasing the light and trust me there were photos everywhere. Need to go back.
Picking photos to post is also a daunting task so please bare with me if it seems like you are looking at the same pictures.
Some of the photos posted are panorama photos made up of 6 or more photos stitched together and will look better on the website than in the email some of you may receive.
In the second part we will visit Deadpan so be prepared for lots of pictures of dead trees 😉
