Home to Springbok.
After our Botswana trip, and seeing that quite good rains fell during the winter Charmain and I decided on quite short notice to break away to check out the flowers. After leaving home we were soon cruising the open roads to our first overnight stop at ‘Die Olyfhuis’ in Barkley West. Wonderfull place to stop over and rest.
After a good nights rest it was time to hit the road to our next destination at Augrabies. It was a beautiful morning and cruising in silence, stopping often to take some pictures, soaking in clean air and silence is what a soul feeds on.
We were now in the swing of things and our next stop was Springbok. Once again the open road beckons and the landscape was changing to one of our favourites. Open sky, quiver trees, sociable weaver nests and our first flowers.
Here is a timelapse taken to show the road between Augrabies and Springbok.
In the next post you will see some flowers.
